A private memorial service for Margaret Kimiko Higashi, 74-year-old, Los Angeles-born Sansei, who passed away on July 16, 2016 in Alhambra, will be held at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary.
She is predeceased by her son, Deric “Otto” Higashi, and survived by her children, Lisa, Kelly (Judy) and Ali Higashi; granddaughter, Dominique Higashi; siblings, Frances Mitsu (Tosh) Sugiyama, Yoshio (Julie), John Tadao (Jean) and Kei (Laurie) Teramoto; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
