Susie Nakatani, 99-year-old Los Angeles-born Nisei and resident of Monterey Park, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024. A private burial service was held on May 14, 2024, at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
Predeceased by her husband, Sam, she leaves behind son, Alan (Catheryn Jackson); daughter, Karen (Ricky Matsui); and grandsons, Owen and Marshall Nakatani. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Judy Nakatani and Tomi Nakatani, and several nieces and nephews.
