Makoto Fujishige, 90-year-old, Hiroshima, Japan-born, resident of Los Angeles, peacefully passed away at Los Angeles General Medical Center on October 20. He is survived by his loving daughters, Miki Iyoya and Maki Fujishige; their respective husbands, and his grandchildren.
The family funeral service will be held at Fukui “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, on Tuesday 12/30/2025 at 11 a.m., Reverend Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
