A funeral service for Jitsuei Yogi, 65-year-old, Shuri, Okinawa-born Issei who passed away on Aug. 18 in Los Angeles will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m. at Kubota Nikkei Mortuary Memorial Chapel, 911 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90015 with Rev. Kojo Kakihara from Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Miwako Yogi; son, Hideo Jimmy Yogi; daughter, Noemi Nancy Yogi; brothers, Minoru Mihara, Yoshio (Yoneko) and Mitsuo (Naomi) Yogi, latter two of Japan; sister, Mieko Shimabukuro of Japan; nephew, Mikio Ronald Yogi; sister-in-law, Etsuko (Kensho) Shinzato, also survived by many relatives.
