A resident of Okayama, Japan, Chicago, Ill., and Gardena, Calif., she is survived by her son, Toshio (Catherine) Hayashi of Washington; daughter, Nancy (Stan) Terasaki of Torrance; grandchildren, Joshua (Charity) Hayashi of Hawaii, Matthew (Colleen) Echohawk-Hayashi of Washington, Tim (Tina) Hayashi of Hawaii, Jesse, Megan and Mariko Terasaki of Torrance; great-grandchildren, Everett, Ale¬thea, Hiroshi, Zoey; and other relatives. She is predeceased by husband, Katsumi Tom; and daughter, Molly. A memorial service will be held Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158th St., Gardena, Calif.
