A family memorial service was held for Sue Sumako Asawa, 83, of Los Angeles on July 22 at Rose Hills Memorial Park. She died peacefully in her sleep on July 14, while hospitalized at Garden Crest Convalescent Hospital were she received excellent, loving care. She is survived by her brothers, Sam (Carol) Tanaka, Shoji (Sumi) Tanaka; sister-in-law, Betty Tanaka; many nephew and nieces and other relatives.
