Funeral services for the late Violet Omatsu, 80-year-old, California-born resident of Hacienda Heights, who passed away on July 31, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8, 11 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church, 961 S. Mariposa Ave.,Los Angeles,under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
She is survived by her husband, Frank K. Omatsu; daughter, Elizabeth (Bruce) Young; sons, Brian and Dean Omatsu; granddaughter, Emerson Omatsu; sisters, Viola (George) Kitahara and Sophia Takeda; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
