Kawanami, Kenneth K. of San Pedro, passed away Sept. 7 at the age of 88. He was born April 14, 1921 in Calexico, Calif. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Kawanami; sistersm Margaret Hatsuyo Borowiec, Kiyo Alice Mathias; brothers, Col. George Masao Kawanami, Dr. Hideo Kawanami; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 14 in the mortuary chapel. Interment will be private.
