A private funeral service for Sachio Fujisaki, 64 year-old, Kagoshima, Japan-born Issei, who passed away on Sept. 13 in Santa Monica was held on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. John Iwohara, of Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Kyung Sook Fujisaki; children, Rika and Dennis Fujisaki; grandchildren, Hannah and Devin Akaboshi, mother, Fusako Fujisaki of Japan; brothers, Tsunehiro, Michihiro and Yuji Fujisaki, all of Japan; sister-in-law, Hee Sook Ko; brothers-in-law, Ki Eui and Ki Young Ko, also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
