Family service for Yoshi Hayashida, 85, a Fresno-born Nisei and resident of Cerritos who passed away at the Quaker Garden Health Center on Sept. 23, was held on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Forest Lawn Cypress with Rev. Derek Nanako of Faith United Methodist Church officiating under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
She is survived by her husband, Benjamin; son, Dr. Jon (Miki) Hayashida; grandchildren, Kristen, Erin and Nicole; sister, Miyo (Frank) Kawamura; brother-in-law, Ken Oya; sister-in-law, Kay Kunitake and many nephews and nieces.
