Funeral service for Kinuko Maehara, 88, a Spokane-born Nisei and resident of Los Angeles who passed away on Dec. 19 at Good Samaritan Hospital, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 26, 10 a.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los An¬geles, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
She is survived by her hus¬band, Tsutomu; sons, Dr. Nolan (Sandy Sakamoto) and Dr. Norman (Mardy) Maehara; daughters, Ro¬sanne (Ron) Takahashi and JoAnn (Akira) Hirose; 10 grandchildren; brother, Roy Shiraga; sisters-in-law, Kikuye Shiraga of Japan and Linda Shiraga of Fresno; and other relatives.
