Kazuyo Fujimoto, age 87, passed away on Jan. 25. Originally from Terminal Island, she was a long time resident of Long Beach until recent years where she resided in La Cañada. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George; and her son, Al; sister, Michiko; and brother, Takeshi. Survived by son, Glenn (Cindy); daughter, Sharon; daughter-in-law, Patty; grandmother of Jason (Lynnette), Cameron, Randi (David) Davis and Lyndsay; great-grandmother of Bryan Davis, Raegan, and Grace Davis; sisters-in-law, Chika Ryono, Toshiye Komoto and Michiye Takeyama. Brothers-in-law, Yoshito Fujimoto, Toru Nishioka, and Kazu Fujimoto; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 31 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles.
