Funeral services for the late Tomoso Kato, 86-year-old, Aiea Ewa, Hawaii-born Nisei resident of Anaheim who unexpectedly passed away on Dec. 31, 2009 will be held on Friday, Jan. 15, 11 a.m. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, officiated by Rev. Akio Miyaji. Mr. Kato is survived by his wife, Delphine Kato; daughter, Michelle (Dennis) Metro-Roland of Michigan; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Wayne (Kay) Kato of Hawaii, Dennis (Violet) Kato, Tooru (Helen) Kato and Yasuto (Mary Lou) Kato of Nevada; sister, Elaine Kamibayashi of Hawaii; brother-in-law, Hisashi Tagami of Hawaii.
