Joyce Chiyeko Sakogawa, 89-year-old, Calif.-resident, passed away on Jan. 27. Public memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 1 p.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158th St., Gardena, Calif.
She is survived by her son, Robert Yukio (Joan Mitsuko) Sakogawa; grandchildren, Justin Susumu, Timothy Tsuyoshi, Krista Sumiye and Matthew Koichi Sakogawa; also survived by brother Nobuo Matsumoto in Iwakuni, Japan and many nephews, nieces and other relatives.
