Funeral service for Julia Chisato Kondo, 86-year-old Los Angeles born
resident who passed away peacefully on April 9, will be held Friday,
April 16, 11 a.m. at Fukui Mortuary, “Chapel In The Garden,” 707 E.
Temple St., Los Angeles 90012.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Benjamin Osamu Kondo and
daughter, Jean Tatsu Kondo. Survived by her beloved children, LeRoy
(Lydia) and Helen (Karim Azzouzi) Kondo; grandchildren, Derrick and
Andrew Kondo; sisters-in-law, Eva Kitayama and Alyce Kondo; and the
Oyamas. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
