Funeral service for the late John Yonekuni Shimazu, 91-year-old, Los
Angeles-born resident of Gardena, who passed away on May 4, 2010,
will be held on Saturday, May 15, 10 a.m. at First Southern Baptist
Church of Gardena, 1025 W. Marine Ave., Gardena.
He is survived by his children, Evelyn (Eric) Yee, Helen (Cliff)
Jeng, Irene Robinson, Steven (Gayle) Shimazu and Susan Shimazu; 6
grandchildren; great-grandchildren; he is also survived by nieces,
nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
