Funeral service for the late Miya Kawashima, who passed away
peacefully on May 16, will be held May 28, 11 a.m. at Fukui Mortuary
“Chapel in the Garden.” A public viewing will be held one hour prior
to the service at 10 a.m.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Steve; sons, Michael, James
and Brian Kawashima; father-in-law, Jiro Kawashima; mother-in-law,
Sakiyo Kawashima; brothers-in-law, Frank (Betty) and Gary (Sandra)
Kawashima; aunt, Yasuyo (Harold) Hamano; also survived by many
nieces, nephews and other relatives.
