Mexico–born Nisei, World War II Veteran, 442nd R.C.T., “I” Company,
who passed away on April 21, 2010 in Montebello will be held on
Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Grace First Presbyterian Church,
3955 N. Studebaker Road, Long Beach, CA with Rev. Mitchell Young from
Montebello Plymouth Congregational Church officiating. Family

He is survived by his wife, Louise Setsuko Shinto; children; Dr. Rick
(Patee) Shinto, Sharon (Ron) Imada, and Dr. Paul (Vicki) Shinto;
grandchildren, Jonathan and Alyssa Shinto, Brett and Eryn Imada,
Lauren, Todd, and M. Hunter Shinto; brothers, Jack (Joanne) of New
Mexico, and Edward (Chiye) Shinto; brothers-in-law, Allan (Frances)
and Steve (Sumi) Kobata; sisters-in-law, Jean and Helen Kobata; also
survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
