Hisashi “Ike” Ikeda passed away peacefully at the age of 98, on June
22, at home. He is survived by daughter, Geri Sakuma (Tadashi);
grandchildren, Marc Tsuboi, Chris Sakuma (Jeanne), and Dahni Tsuboi
(Peter Manzo); and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Jake, Quinn,
Aidan and Kaitlan; sister Yoshiko Machida; brother Morio Ikeda; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
Service to be held at the Hillside Chapel at Rose Hills Memorial Park
on Saturday, June 26 at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family
requests donations be made to the Japanese American National Museum.
