Private funeral service for the late Ichiro “Bud” Kaminaka, 92-year-old San
Gabriel-born resident of Los Angeles who passed away peacefully on Oct. 20, was held
on Oct. 29 at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple with Rinban Noriaki Ito officiating.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Taroji and Ichi Kaminaka. Survived
by his siblings, Kiyoko Kokuga and Yukiko Hayashi; also survived by nieces, nephews
and their children.
