Akira Oguri, 83-year-old, Los Angeles resident passed away peacefully on Jan. 10, 2011. He is survived by his beloved wife, Taeko June Oguri; children, Steven and David (Lyly) Oguri; granddaughter, Kaylee Oguri; sisters, Kyoko Takemura, Michiko Yamaguchi of Japan; brother-in-law, Tsuneo Yamada of Japan and nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22, 11 a.m. at San Fernando Valley Holiness Church, 9610 Haddon Ave., Pacoima, Calif.
