Funeral service for Giichiro Joe Mori, 88-year-old, California-born Nisei, who passed away peacefully at home in Montebello, on Feb. 17, 2011, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Montebello Plymouth Congregational Church, 144 S. Greenwood Ave, Montebello.
He was a veteran of World War II, member of the Southern California Flower Growers, Inc., and owner of Mori Nursery. He was predeceased by his parents Yoshiharu and Take Mori and his brother Taketoshi (Peter) Mori. He is survived by his wife, Mari Eto Mori; daughter Sharon Zebker and her husband Howard Zebker; son Gary Mori and his wife Rose Kim; daughter Ann Mori and her husband Peter Shimizu; brother Tatsuo Mori and his wife Nancy; sister-in law Yoko Mori; grandchildren Melissa, Jake, and Molly; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
