Funeral service for the late Mr. Minoru Ota, 95-year-old Fresno, Calif.-born resident of Los Angeles who passed away on Feb. 14, 2011 was held privately at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” officiated by Rimban Hiroshi Abiko of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
Mr. Ota is survived by his sons, Richard Mitsuru (Margaret Sumie) and Toshio (Yoshiko); daughter, Aiko Warner of Portland, Oregon. Also survived by 4 grandsons, 2 grand-daughters, 3 great-grandsons, 6 great-granddaughters and many other relatives both here and in Japan.
