Funeral service for the late Noboru Hashima, 84-year-old Hawthorne-born resident of Gardena, who passed away on March 1, 2011 was held on Friday March 11, 2011 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” officiated by a minister from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
Noboru is survived by his loving wife Teruko Hashima; son, Don Hashima; grandchild, Erica Hashima; brother; Kei Hashima; former daughter in law Shirley Ikeda. Noboru is also survived by many other loving family and friends.
