Tom Tomu Ishibashi passed away May 20, 2011 at the age of 82. Tom was born Nov. 15, 1928 in San Pedro, and had been a longtime resident of Lomita and produce farmer near the Torrance Airport. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maya (11/23/09).
Tom is survived by his children, Thomas (Audrey) Ishibashi, Mimi_Tamura, and Marcia (Mike) Oto; one grandson, eight granddaughters, and one_ great-granddaughter; brother, Daniel Ishibashi and sisters, Yukiko Yumori, _Naomi Hamachi and Suzuko Hashimoto. Visitation/viewing will be Monday, June 6, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Green Hills Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Rolling Hills Covenant Church, 2222 Palos Verdes Drive North, Rolling Hills Estates.
