Funeral service for the late Yukio Hino, 87 years old and resident of Pasadena, California, who passed away on July 31, 2011 will be held on Saturday, August, 13, 2011, 11:00 am, Sky Rose Chapel, Rose Hill Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3888 S. Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA. The service will be closed casket and dress is causal. Public viewing will be held, August 12, Friday, between 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. at Rose Hills, Whittier.
Yukio served for 26 years as treasurer of the Creelbusters, a Pasadena fishing club, and member for 56 years. He loved ballroom dancing his whole life and was president of his Monday dancing class for over 20 years. He was the treasurer/secretary of the Pasadena Bowling League for more than four decades. In 2005, he was elected to the “Hall of Fame” in the San Gabriel Valley Men Bowling Association and the Pasadena Bowling League was renamed the “Yuk Hino Bowling League.”
He is survived by his three children Gary, David, and Karen; two grandchildren, Timothy and Deborah; sister, Ann; and brothers Mitsugi and Teruo.
