Private funeral service for the late Katsuichi Mori, a Shinjuku, Tokyo Japan-born resident of Westchester, a 1952 Olympic diver and the owner of 26 Beach Restaurant in Venice who passed away on Sept. 2, 2011 in Santa Monica, was held on Sept. 8 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” officiated by Rev. Kodo Tanaka of Jodoshu North American Buddhist Mission.
Mr. Mori was predeceased by his beloved wife, Yoko Mori. He is survived by his sons, Bryan Motoaki (Rita) and Francis Motohiro Mori; grandsons Tadashi and Eiji Mori; siblings, Kazumasa and Yasuko Mori of Japan. Also survived by many other relatives here and in Japan.
