Funeral service for the late Mrs. Yasue Mayeda, 84-year-old, Chiba-Ken, Japan-born resident of Gardena, who passed away on Dec. 1, 2011, will be held on Dec. 11, 2011, Sunday, 3 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, Calif.
Predeceased by her husband, Richard Shiro Mayeda, she is survived by daughters, Frances Yoshie Mayeda and Arlene Masue Mayeda of Washington, D.C.; grandchildren, Kenneth Tenshin Lem-Mayeda of Washington, D.C. and Steven Shiro Mayeda of Washington, D.C.; sister, Kazue Ohzeki of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
