Graveside service for the late May Chitori Amemiya, 87-year-old Rancho Palos Verdes resident, who passed away on Nov. 9, 2011, was held on Jan. 21, 2012 at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes.
May is survived by sisters, Mary (Sam) Matsuoka, Ruth Hirano, June (Ralph) Alvarez, Elsie (James) Muramatsu; brother, Ray Taketaya; brother-in-law, Hiroshi Amemiya; sisters-in-law, Louise Taketaya, Fudge (Kay) Komura and Yuki Shibuya. May is also survived by many other loving family members here and in Japan.
