Takeshi “Tak” Hamagiwa, age 79, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away suddenly on Jan. 6, 2012 at St. Jude Medical Center.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Wong; survived by son, Steve (Brenda); daughter, Stacey; brother, Ichiro; and sister, Hatsume (Tom) Tsubokawa.
Also survived by wife, Keiko; stepchildren, Christy (Mike), David, Gregg (Stacy), Garrett (Susan) and Daniel (Carli).
He is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Cerritos Baptist Church, 11947 Del Amo Blvd., Cerritos, Calif. Burial is immediately following at Rose Hills Cemetery.
