
Olympic speedskating medalist Apolo Ohno will appear in the next episode of “Hawaii Five-0,” to be aired Monday, Feb. 20, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
Titled “Kupale” (Defender), the episode is about the murder of man dressed as a Hawaiian Nakoa warrior near the site of a historical war re-enactment.
Ohno, the most decorated U.S. Winter Olympic athlete of all time, guest-stars as a Hawaiian history buff who helps Five-0 with the case.
The Seattle native, who also won on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” is now branching into acting. He has also been cast in “Tasmanian Devil,” a TV movie that will air on Syfy.
The “Hawaii Five-0” episode will also feature Shane “The Flyin’ Hawaiian” Victorino, Philadelphia Phillies outfielder and Hawaii native, as a business executive on a company retreat.
The show stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park and Masi Oka.
