SAN JOSE — A remembrance vigil for victims and survivors of the 3/11 earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan will be held on Saturday, March 10, at 5 p.m. in front of Yu-Ai Kai Senior Center, 588 N. 4th St. (near Jackson) in San Jose Japantown.

Donations for ongoing relief efforts will be accepted (cash and checks only). Make checks out to JCCsj (Japantown Community Congress of San Jose) and write “Earthquake/tsunami relief” on the memo line.

Donations will be forwarded to the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco for the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The vigil is coordinated by JCCsj, a nonprofit 501(c)3 public benefit charitable institution. For more information, email sanjosejtown@sbcglobal.net.
