Private funeral service for the late Shigeo Kenmotsu, 90-year-old, El Monte-born Nisei, resident of Brea, Calif., who passed away peacefully at his residence on April 13 with family at his side, was held on Monday, April 23 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” with Bishop Emeritus Taisen Miyata officiating.
Shigeo is survived by his loving daughter, Vivian (Bruce) Sonoda; and grandchildren, Gayle, Joyce and Greg Sonoda.
