The 2012 Jokun Recognition Luncheon will be held on Sunday, June 10, at the Quiet Cannon, 901 N. Via San Clemente in Montebello, to honor eight Southern California leaders who were bestowed the Kunsho award by Japan’s emperor. Reception starts at 10 a.m., ceremony at 11 a.m., and lunch at 12 p.m.

All of the honorees were recognized for their outstanding service to the community and contributions to U.S.-Japan relations.
