Reservations are being taken for the Friends and Family of Nisei Veterans 70th Anniversary Tour of Italy.

The trip will take place from May 20 to June 2, 2013 and will include many of the areas where the 100th Infantry Battalion and the 442nd Regimental Combat Team fought through Italy during World War II.

Participants will visit American cemeteries in Florence and Nettuno for a wreath-laying ceremony as well as the Sadao Munemori monument in Pietrasanta and two memorials to the 442nd in Tendola.

Those who are interested can contact Debra Stern at Peak Travel, who is organizing the trip logistics. She can be reached at 1-800-999-2608.
