SACRAMENTO — Chris Masami Myers, 41, of Sacramento has been appointed to the 52nd District Agricultural Association, Sacramento County Fair Board by Gov. Jerry Brown.

Since 2011, Myers has been managing director at the California Democratic Party, where he was research director from 1998 to 2010. He served as a legislative aide to Assemblymember Don Perata (D-Oakland) from 1997 to 1998.
This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Myers is a Democrat.
The governor has also appointed Elaine Yamaguchi and Denise Sagara to the 40th District Agricultural Association, Yolo County Fair Board.
