Private funeral service for June Tsuyoko Yamamisaka, 95-year-old Salinas, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on June 8 at Vista Del Sol Care Center, was held on Saturday, June 16 at the Gedatsu Church in South San Gabriel.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carole (Howard) Tsujimura, Gayle Stoner of Las Vegas; a son, Russell (Teresa) Yamamisaka; grandchildren, Debbie (Greg) Gillis, Todd (Sonya) Tsujimura, Jodi (Craig) Morioka, Cindy Tsujimura, Wendy (Patrick) Young, and Lynne (Alex) Sanchez, and 9 great grandchildren; brother, Yasuo Abe and sister, Arlyne Namba; also many nieces, nephews and relatives.
