Funeral service for Masao Dobashi, 89-year-old Reedley-born resident of Monterey Park who passed away on July 14, 2012 at his residence will be held on Saturday, July 21, at 5 p.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles.
He is survived by his daughters, Gayle (Dr. Randy) Yonai and Liz (Wade) Kato; son, Mark (Michi) Dobashi; grandchildren, Dr. Derek (Amy), Ryan (Maria) Yonai, Michael, Robin Dobashi, Cory, Karli Kato; great-granddaughter, Kaori Yonai; sisters, Iku Dendo and Mary (Bill) Inouye; brother-in-law, Mas Nishikawa; sisters-in-law, Shag Morishita, Yo Mishima and Aiko Nishijima; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
