SAN FRANCISCO —  Minami Tamaki LLP is proud to announce that all of its partners and senior counsel have been selected as “Northern California Super Lawyers” for 2012. This is the ninth straight year that the partners have received this distinction.

Partner Dale Minami was again named to the Top 100 “Super Lawyers” list — this is his seventh year on the list— and two associates were recognized as “Rising Stars,” the Super Lawyers distinction for the best attorneys 40 and under. A partner and associate were also named to the 2012 “Top Women Attorneys in Northern California” list.

The firm is one of the very few, and possibly the only one, in which every partner and senior counsel received this distinction. Only five percent of the lawyers in the California are named by “Super Lawyers.”

Partners Dale Minami (personal injury plaintiff), Donald K. Tamaki (business/corporate), Brad Yamauchi (consumer law), Minette A. Kwok (immigration), Jack W. Lee (antitrust litigation) and Senior Counsel B. Mark Fong (personal injury plaintiff) were selected based on voting conducted by ballots sent to more than 56,000 lawyers in the region, an extensive process involving peer nomination and a blue ribbon panel composed of lawyers from appropriate practice areas who scrutinized the list of nominees.

Senior Associate Seth I. Rosenberg (personal injury plaintiff) and Associate Eunice Yang (personal injury plaintiff) were named to the “Northern California Rising Stars” list, representing less than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state.

Kwok and Yang were also named to the 2012 “Top Women Attorneys in Northern California” list, which will appear in the December 2012 issue of San Francisco Magazine.

Established in 1974 and based in San Francisco, Minami Tamaki LLP serves clients with legal needs related to consumer and employee rights, immigration and nationality, personal injury, and nonprofit and business counseling. The firm has earned an “AV” rating by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest rating for professional competence and ethics issued by that publication. Its attorneys have also been recognized as among the top 500 lawyers in the country by LawDragon magazine and as some of the best attorneys in the Bay Area by Bay Area Lawyer Magazine.
