OXNARD — Oxnard Buddhist Temple’s annual Obon Festival will be held Saturday, July 14, from 1 to 9 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to attend the “Gathering of Joy” and join the Bon Odori.

Exhibits, demonstrations and cultural activities will include bonsai, origami, children’s games, judo, karate, taiko and Japanese dance.

Booths will feature food and drinks, a farmers’ market, produce and flowers, a silent auction and a benefit drawing.

The schedule is as follows:

1 p.m. — Oxnard Bonsai Club

2 p.m. — Sasaki Kenpo Karate

2:30 p.m. — Encino Judo

3 p.m. — Azuma dance

4 p.m. — Okinawa dance

4:30 p.m. — Dharma service (in the temple)

5 p.m. — Togen Daiko

6 p.m. — Bon Odori

7 p.m. — Togen Daiko

8 p.m. — Bon Odori

8:45 p.m. — Drawing
