CLOVIS — A free screening of “Valor With Honor” will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District Auditorium, 804 Fourth St., Clovis.
“Valor With Honor” is an independent documentary film about Japanese Americans who served in Europe with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team during World War II. Some of the veterans who recounted their experiences before, during and after the war have since passed away.
A question-and-answer session with the filmmaker, Burt Takeuchi, will follow the screening, and DVDs will be available for purchase.
