Arthur Hisaya Takeda, age 76, Los Angeles-born, resident of Montebello, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at his residence, He is survived by his beloved wife, Yoneko Takeda; children, Kevin (Mary) and Jeffrey (Melissa) Takeda; grandchildren, Dylan and Laney Takeda; sisters, Kazuko Ito and Emmie Yasui; brother-in-law, Makoto (Carolyn) Okuno; mother-in-law, Haru Okuno; nieces and nephews, Kathy (Dave) Kiyan, Karen (Mickey) Miyamae, Darren (Linda) Shirai, Roy Ito, Craig Okuno, Linda (Jeffrey) Niizawa, and Robert (Betty) Okuno; and survived by many other relatives.
Private service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” with Rev. William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Officiating.
