SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco JACL will present its annual community health fair, Kenko no Hi, on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Christ United Presbyterian Church, 1700 Sutter St. (at Laguna) in Japantown.
The free event includes flu shots; blood pressure, dental and other screenings; and literature from local health-related organizations. Doctors and other medical professionals donate their time and services. Bilingual (Japanese-English) helpers will be on hand.
Kenko no Hi (Day of Health) is made possible by the support of Union Bank’s Japan Center Branch.
