Alan Tadayoshi Matsumoto, 73-year-old, Kauai-born and long-time resident of Gardena, passed away on Oct. 19, 2012. Predeceased by his sister, Agnes Matsumoto; he is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia “Pat” Matsumoto; children, Lisa Choi and Kevin (Autumn) Matsumoto; grandchildren, Grant and James Choi, and Sydney and Kori Matsumoto; siblings, Ruth and Richard (Suzanne) Matsumoto; he is also survived by other relatives. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 11 a.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles.
