LTroots provides a space for young adults invested in Little Tokyo to engage in issues affecting the community with a collective voice — to educate, advocate and participate.
Kizuna’s mission is to build a vibrant Nikkei community by creating an empowering culture and environment; engaging and advocating for the community by igniting the passion of young Japanese Americans; and building collective identity through multigenerational and multiethnic collaborations. Previously, LTroots has donated Halloween party proceeds to such organizations as Budokan of L.A., Little Tokyo Community Council, Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, Japanese American National Museum, and Little Tokyo Service Center.
