
SAN JOSE — Celebrate Halloween in San Jose Japantown on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
From 3 to 5 p.m., games and crafts will be hosted by San Jose CYS and San Jose JACL at the Issei Memorial Building, 565 N. 5th St. (near Jackson Street).
From 5 to 5:30 p.m., San Jose Taiko will perform in the Fellowship Hall of Wesley United Methodist Church, 566 N. 5th St., and a safety presentation will be given by San Jose Taiko and Sgt. Gene Ito of the San Jose Police Department.
Trick-or-treating will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Japantown merchants will be giving away treats to all kids in costume. Take photos with the J-Town Halloween Drummers (San Jose Taiko) throughout Japantown. Enjoy “trunk or treat” in the Wesley UMC parking lot.
