Muneo Takamura was born Oct. 23, 1929 in San Fernando, Calif. He was 82 years old. He is survived by his son, Walter Takamura; his daughter-in-law, Marian Takamura; grandchildren, Kurtis and Emily Takamura; and relatives from Japan. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes.
