WEST COVINA — The Free Family Health Fair will be held at the East San Gabriel Valley Japanese Community Center, 1203 W. Puente Ave., West Covina, on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Co-presented by ESGVJCC and State Sen. Ed Hernandez (D-West Covina), an optometrist who continues to volunteer in the community, the event will include screenings (dentistry, optometry, general health, podiatry, hearing, diabetes), body fat analysis, and a blood drive.
There will be resource fairs in the gymnasium and social hall. Demonstrations of how to make a healthy Japanese meal will be given at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. RSVP to the number below.
For lunch, curry rice, somen salad and chow mein will be available for purchase from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The following mini-classes will be offered: kendo, karate, judo, aikido, shinkendo, zumba, ballroom, yoga and taiko.
