A reception will be held to thank Los Angeles City Councilmember Jan Perry and her staff for their years of service to and representation of the Little Tokyo community will be held on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center’s Garden Room, 244 S. San Pedro St., Los Angeles.
Perry, who began her third term representing the 9th Council District in 2009, is leaving the council and is a candidate in the 2013 mayoral race.
The event is co-hosted by the Little Tokyo Community Council and the JACCC.
