The Kato family would like to announce the passing of their beloved Sachiko Hayashi Kato, known by all for her ready smile and kind words.
She was born on April 11, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA. She passed peacefully in her sleep at her home on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the age of 86.
Sachiko is survived by her loving husband Frank; sons Alvin, Michael and wife Jackie, Douglas, and Wayne; grandchildren Daniel, Sara and Jordan. Also nieces Dale, Joey, and Debbie, nephews Forest and Arthur, grandnieces, grandnephew, and relatives in Japan.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan.13, 2013 at 12 noon at Konko Church of Los Angeles. 2924 E. 1st Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90033
